The Blessing Tree tradition continues for the 26th year, and we have a new location where it will shine brightly for all. This visual embodiment of hope will be at Be the Light Park in Downtown Bettendorf located at 1108 State Street, Bettendorf, IA.
Our 32-foot tree will be visible from both sides of the river and this new location will allow the community to visit at any time to honor, remember and celebrate. We have so much to be thankful for and we share our blessings to give hope to the families and individuals in the community impacted by cancer.
Support the services of Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club and sponsor a light, bow, or ornament in memory of, in celebration of, or in gratitude for a special person in your life. We will feature each name on our Blessing Tree website page and a Holiday Blessing tribute card will be sent to the individual or family letting them know someone has honored them.
Join us for cocoa, cookies, carolers, and conversation from 6pm to 7pm on December 3rd at Be the Light Park. We will read the names of loved ones recognized at 6:15 pm, illuminate the Blessing Tree at 6:30pm that night and light the way through January 1st. There is convenient parking surrounding the Blessing Tree so bring your family and friends down and create a new tradition.
